Here’s some of our latest and gratest projects that we’ve been cooking up!
Have You Thought About..?
We have been helping replant an area for a client. Dogwoods from their window without seeing blobs of them was their aim. So why not plant a contrasting stemmed deciduous plant with a similar growth habit within the centre of the clump, but also to make it slightly oval so it’s not seen as a structural blob.
The plants used are – dogwood – ‘Midwinter Fire’ + Cotinus – ‘Dusky Maiden’. With these two together. You can achieve the beautiful winter stems, with not just orange but the dark rouge of the cotinus. This is said to be the same in summer with the contrast of the dogwood leaves the same as the bark.
